Team Council goals
for 2009

  • Send out three newsletters from each site during the year
  • Discuss work place safety.
  • Schedule Christmas caroling in Forest Lake in December.
  • Schedule one Team Council meeting at a restaurant.
  • Organize the "Bring a Friend" picnic in the summer.
  • Have a Team Council member attend the Self Advocacy Conference
  • Find a group to participate in a Pen Pal exchange

Cottage Grove has been busy working on the Polywater contract with the large and small cloths. Some community outings that we like to attend are the library, YMCA and Meals on Wheels.

What's new with Team Council?

The Team Council is planning to write thank you letters to some of the soldiers in march. Amy K. is planning to attend the Self Advocacy Conference in April with staff Shannon from Forest Lake.

Events to look for:
Team Council meets the first Wednesday of every month from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Stillwater Conference Room.

Amy K will attend the Self Advocacy Conference in April.

We will discuss the Advocacy Conference in May

June 3 is "Bring a Friend Picnic.
