Fishing on Rainy Lake
This is a fisherperson's dream! Gary and Sandie Woeltge will host up to four people at their cabin on Redgut Bay of Rainy Lake (on the Canadian side of the lake!). Your trip includes accommodations, guided fishing, bait, tackle (or bring your own fishing gear), and two home-cooked meals each day. (Guests will need to purchase a Canadian fishing license for less than $30 and have a current passport.) The value of this once-in-a-lifetime trip is estimated at $4,000.

Hot-air balloon ride over the scenic St. Croix Valley
Get a unique bird's-eye view of the area in a hot-air balloon. Two tickets will be available, valued at $250 each. This unique adventure is available thanks to the generosity of Stillwater Balloons.

Dinner for up to 12 people, prepared and served by the ESR Board of Directors
You will be able to plan a dinner party for up to 12 people and not have to do anything beyond send the invitations. The ESR Board of Directors and Executive Director Ed Boeve will prepare and serve a five-course dinner to you and your guests. The dinner party can be scheduled at the home of the bidder's choice or the home of our Board Chair. Take advantage of this opportunity to entertain without all the fuss!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Put a sparkle in her eye when you put a diamond and gemstone necklace, valued at $500, around her neck. This unique chain and pendant combination were generously donated by Wedding Day Jewelers.

ESR helps adults with disabilities find and keep jobs in the community. Many of those we serve do not drive, and public transportation is limited or costly. This means ESR drives more than 3,500 miles a day providing rides so those we serve can work and participate in community life.

The need: Fuel prices rose 47 percent between 2005-2007; and another 38 percent from January through August of this year. State and federal reimbursements for transportation were 2 percent in each of those same years. ESR must make up the difference, putting other programs and services at risk.

Please help us fill our gas tanks!

ESR cars and vans travel 3,500 miles a day, five days a week! That represents about a gas tank a week in each of ESR's 35 vehicles.

Help us keep transportation services available to adults with developmental disabilities.

Your donations will be gratefully accepted at

We appreciate your support!
